Let’s talk about Wizard World Comic Con in Sacramento, California – the most exciting event I have ever witnessed.

There were so many characters all around me. These people spend so many hours on their costumes and do an awesome job of making them. Many spend up to several months planning their outfits and also get to compete in the Wizard World Costume Contest. Kids also had their own contest. I saw costumes of Spiderman, Batman and The Joker. My favorite was the awesome work of the Planet of the Apes. What we thought was a mask was actually the awesome work of makeup. Looks like I better start planning now for next year.

The highlight of my day was meeting Norman Reedus (Daryl of “The Walking Dead”). When I first walked up to see him, we high fived not once, but numerous times. I told him, “I can stand here all day doing this.” Norman just laughed.

I got to briefly speak with him about the show. I was curious to find out if he actually uses real arrows with his crossbow. Norman explained that the crossbow is indeed real, but not the arrows.

He was an awesome guy, to take time with kids like me.

Other celebrities attending Wizard World Sacramento Comic Con included Malcolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange), Billie Piper (Doctor Who), Danny Trejo (Machete), Henry Winkler (Happy Days), Alfonso Ribeiro (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air), Christian Serratos (The Walking Dead), Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy), Kelly Frye (The Flash), David Yost and Jason David Frank (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), Total Divas Eva Marie, Brie Bella and Nikki Bella.

Going to Comic Con was one of the most amazing things I did this summer! I am looking forward to next year.

If you haven’t ever been to a Comic Con, you have to go. I definitely suggest it.
