Get ready to get Rockin’ by the Bay

MARTINEZ, Calif. – Main Street Martinez, in partnership with the City of Martinez, is proud to announce Rockin’ by the Bay Music Festival at the Martinez Waterfront Amphitheater, Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, noon to 9 p.m. The event will feature live music on two stages along with food trucks, beer, wine and local crafts.

The Rockin’ by the Bay Music Festival is the second concert of this caliber to be held at the Martinez Waterfront Amphitheater. Last year, the City of Martinez hosted the Blues by the Bay Music Festival in May.

This year’s music festival is sponsored by Shell Martinez Refinery, The UPS Store on Arnold Drive in Martinez, Food Truck Mafia, and Republic Services, and is produced by Main Street Martinez in partnership with the City of Martinez and promoter, Prime Time Entertainment.

It has a rock and roll theme. The all-day music festival will have two stages with live music from 1-9 p.m.

The Rockin’ by the Bay Music Festival features several regional and local talents, including Edgar Winter, Gamma featuring Davey Pattison, Lydia Pense and Cold Blood, Chris Cain, as well as local favorite, Garageland Rodeo. The second stage sponsored by Armando’s in Martinez features The Killbillies.

Tickets for the all-day event are $25 for general admission and $50 for VIP which includes preferred parking, seating close to the main stage, and a beer and wine booth for VIP ticket holders only. Tickets will be available at the door for cash only if the event is not sold out ($35 general admission and $60 VIP seating).

Free parking is available downtown with closer parking available for $5 per car. Proceeds from the parking benefit the Sea Scouts. Ticket holders will have in-and-out privileges throughout the day. Downtown Martinez is a short walk from the Amphitheater and features several restaurants open for lunch and dinner.
