For one night only, friends, former bandmates of David Bowie and other world-class players will perform a career spanning concert of nothing but David Bowie’s music in Bowie’s imitable style. Performing this Saturday March 3rd at The Regency in San Francisco and the following night at the Luther Burbank Center in Santa Rosa, “Celebrating David Bowie” features a set list filled with both his greatest hits and fan favorites.

More than just a mere salute, Celebrating David Bowie helps keep Bowie’s music alive with musicians who worked closely with him throughout his career and other top musicians greatly influenced by him. Renowned Bowie touring and recording keyboardist Mike Garson, who collaborated with Bowie longer than any other musician, will be fronting the band along with longtime Bowie guitarist Earl Slick, current Rolling Stones singer Bernard Fowler, and guitarist Gerry Leonard (A Reality Tour).

Bowie’s Let’s Dance/Serious Moonlight Tour bassist Carmine Rojas, 2017 Grammy Nominee Gaby Moreno along with special guest Mr. Hudson and other former Bowie band members will also make surprise appearances along the way. The rotating ensemble with world class multi-instrumentalists changing song to song will perform a show highlighting elements that influenced Bowie and that in turn Bowie influenced: pop culture experimentation, art, fashion, science and futurism. Recent setlists have been featuring hits including “Fame”, “Changes”, “Let’s Dance”, “Diamond Dogs” and “Heroes”, just to name a few.

Previous special guests on “Celebrating David Bowie” shows have included: Sting, Gary Oldman, Seal, Perry Farrell, The B-52’s’ Kate Pierson, Ewan McGregor, Simon Le Bon, Gavin Rossdale, La Roux, Joe Elliott, Mr Hudson, Gail Ann Dorsey, Spandau Ballet’s Steve Norman, Corey Taylor, Ian Astbury, Darren Criss, Tony Hadley, Living Colour, The London Community Gospel Choir, and The Harlem Gospel Choir, among many others.
