George Kittle completes a reception against the Seahawks during the Niners loss Sunday afternoon. He finished the day with four receptions for 40 yards in the Niners 28-21 loss.
“He went in there unexpected and he competed,” Niners coach Mike Shanahan said. “Trey’s a football player. He’s always got a chance to make a play and that’s why I think he did. It was good for him to take us down on that scoring drive there at the end. But it takes some time to play in this league as you guys have seen. It’s about knowing where to get rid of the ball, when to try and make those plays, when to check a down and have other guys do it for you, when to hang in the pocket, when to escape the pocket and he got a lot of real NFL game experience with that today and hopefully he’ll get better from it.”

Asked about never having lost three in a row, Wilson said, ““I don’t think about losing. I’m not thinking about losing three in a row, thinking about losing one, thinking about losing two, I just don’t think about it. It’s not in my repertoire. I just think about winning. I think that’s why I’ve been able to be so successful in the midst of adversity. We had to win this game today and that’s what we came here to do in a tough environment. Levi’s Stadium is always one of the toughest places to play.”

With a week to lick their wounds, San Francisco will face another tough challenge against a division opponent when they travel to Glendale, Arizona to face the 4-0 Cardinals, the only remaining undefeated team in the NFL.
