The crime blotter is compiled from public record and is not confirmed by Martinez Police or any other party unless otherwise stated. Some accounts may be unfounded.

Wednesday, April 19
A suspicious person was spotted on Carquinez Scenic Drive wearing a long black and blue pea coat, jeans and a pair of red Converse while looking into vehicles at 7:06 a.m. The outfit almost sounds fashionable.

A woman in multicolored yoga pants allegedly committed assault at the CVS pharmacy on Center Avenue at 9:31 a.m.

During lunchtime, a woman described as middle aged was seen pulling her pants down at the bus stop on Alhambra Avenue and F Street.

At 2:23 p.m., a man wearing a gray and blue jacket over a gray sweatshirt opened and guzzled about five bottled drinks, then walked out of the CVS pharmacy on Center Avenue. Thirsty boy.

At 2:47 p.m., an elderly man purchased alcohol from the Quik Stop market on Muir Road and then chugged it in his car in the parking lot. He then drove away.

At 5:50 p.m., a man in camo pants was punching the poles and seats on the bus. He was the only passenger.

Around 9:30 p.m., a man in a black jacket put merchandise in his pants at Walgreens.

Thursday, April 20
It’s April 20th. Nice.

At the bus stop of Alhambra Avenue and F Street, a woman not wearing a shirt was yelling and throwing things onto the street at 10:26 a.m.

At 12:08 p.m., a woman was heard on Court Street saying “Don’t hit me,” and then, “You just hit me.”

Friday, April 21
All the toilets were backing up at Rankin Park at 6:40 p.m. It’s probably somehow my brother’s fault.

Parents were apparently spitting on one another at a game at Alhambra High School around 8 p.m.

Saturday, April 22
Happy Earth Day!

A driver fell asleep, drove through a fence and partially up the hillside onto old golf course property off Morello Avenue at 4:20 a.m.

A woman said to be six feet tall with blonde hair ran out of Wal-Mart with store merchandise at 1:30 p.m.

A semi-truck struck a fire hydrant causing water to spill into the air by the Westaire neighborhood pool around 3 p.m.

At 3:23 p.m., a driver of a green SUV was driving erratically on Reliez Valley Road while towing a child on a skateboard. The skateboard must’ve been parked in a red zone or something.

Monday, April 24
At 8:45 a.m., a man in a cowboy hat was attempting to scam customers of Bagel Street Cafe on Center Avenue. Don’t even try to scam me until I’ve had my morning bagel.

Tuesday, April 25
A suspicious person was reported on Thomas Drive at 12:37 a.m. He wore an oversized bright white t-shirt, had tattoos, had a shaved or bald head and was out of breath.

A man wearing no shoes was reportedly walking up and down Haven Street wielding some type of 2 foot metal bar in his hands at 4:09 a.m.

A man in black pants and a white tank top had been walking down Estudillo Street stopping at various homes and sitting on their porches in the 8 to 9 a.m. range.

At 1:32 p.m., a woman at Mt View Park was yelling at a man who asked her to keep her dog away from him and his children. At one point she left and then came back to yell some more.

Around 5:30 p.m., a possibly transient man with a beard was in front of the CVS drug store on Center Avenue vomiting. His pants were down and there was an open bottle of alcohol sitting nearby.

The crime blotter is compiled from public record and is not confirmed by Martinez Police or any other party unless otherwise stated. Some accounts may be unfounded.

Wednesday, April 12
A car parked in the handicapped spot at the Hidden Creek apartments was not displaying a proper placard and was given a parking citation at 2:55 a.m.

It was reported at 8:29 a.m. that pillars and rocks were spray painted to read “F U” on Northridge Road.

Two young men on the Hidden Valley Park play structure at 11:35 a.m. were allegedly playing loud and offensive music and would not turn it down when asked.

An apartment on Center Avenue had water coming out from underneath the front door at 9:41 p.m.

Thursday, April 13
Seven people were reportedly stuck on an elevator on Arnold Drive at 6:36 a.m.

Around lunchtime, the driver of a white truck was yelling at the driver of a white Nissan to get out and fight him.

A man with a briefcase was yelling at people passing by on Green Street at 1:35 p.m. Truly a businessman.

A man in blue jeans was yelling at people passing by the Safeway on Alhambra Avenue at 2:15 p.m. Truly casual Friday is tomorrow.

A knife was pulled out on the bus at 4:13 p.m. while it was traveling on Escobar Street.

At 4:23 p.m. a male driver was asked to slow down after allegedly driving recklessly on Alhambra Avenue. He responded with cursing and making derogatory comments towards women. So it sounds like he won that argument.

Friday, April 14
Windows were reportedly broken at the county hospital at 1:03 a.m.

Makeup was stolen from the Rite Aid on Arnold Drive at 7:13 p.m. So if you see four women glammed up, please call me and let me know.

Saturday, April 15
A woman in a light brown trench coat repeatedly trespassed the Main Street Starbucks just before 7 a.m. I can only do my trespassing after I’ve had my coffee.

A woman was seen screaming and driving erratically on Escobar Street at 10:05 a.m. Sounds like a bee in the car.

A man in a black beanie walked out of the Safeway grocery store at noon carrying two bags loaded with bottles that he had no intention of paying for. When confronted he would not return what he had taken.

At 7:49 p.m., three men stole two baskets full of groceries from Nob Hill on Center Avenue.

Sunday, April 16
At 5:36 p.m., a man in a black jacket lit a log on fire on the sidewalk near Hagins Automotive on Alhambra Avenue. I don’t remember this Easter celebration.

Monday, April 17
Adorned in all white, a person attempted to cross Highway 4 on foot near the Center Avenue exit.

Tuesday, April 18
It was reported at 3:50 a.m. that several kids stole several cases of beer from the Virginia Hills Safeway. Who needs beer that early? At least wait until after breakfast to go stealing beers.

A man in a plaid shirt was breaking bottles on Escobar Street and harassing women passing by at around 3 p.m.

At 6:12 p.m., it was reported that several bottles of alcohol, amounting to $200, were stolen from the Safeway by the high school. Now this is an appropriate time.

Wednesday, April 5
Six to eight teenagers were seen running around Loreto Court with flashlights at 2:07 a.m.
Hair products were shoplifted from the CVS drug store on Center Avenue by a man said to be 22 years old. He was said to slip away in a van at 12:52 p.m. So if you a see a 22-year-old with beautiful hair driving a van, call me.

Multiple teenagers were seen throwing lemons at cars in motion around the Pacheco Boulevard and Arreba Street area at 3:31 p.m. These teens should be at home watching television where they belong.

A tall man in a dark flannel was allegedly throwing garbage all around him in the Ward Street and Berrellesa Street area at 5:44 p.m. He was said to even throw a bottle at a person. This is the exact reason I recycle everything.

A woman thought to be in her 50s was sitting on a bench on Main Street yelling profanities at the cars and people passing by her at around 6 p.m.

Thursday, April 6
A man in a blue checkered shirt ran into the Starbucks on Arnold Drive and stole a laptop from a patron at 4:41 p.m. So if you see a criminal whose writing a screenplay, again, call me.
Seventeen trees or large branches were reported to have fallen on this day.

Friday, April 7
A man in a gray shirt and another wearing a hat, stole meat from the Lucky grocery store at 11:36 a.m. Which was just in time for lunch.

The tip jar was stolen from Kinder’s bbq on Center Avenue at around 6 p.m.

Sunday, April 9
A man in a white shirt was cleaning a seven inch knife near the dumpster of McDonald’s at 2:09 p.m. He was asked to leave, but I don’t see how else one can eat a Big Mac without cutting it down to more manageable proportions. I think the seven inch knife is modest.

A man in cargo pants was seen attempting to pry open the doors of the Contra Costa Records and ID building on Arnold Drive at 5:28 p.m. Clearly someone is in a hurry for some records or an ID.

Tuesday, April 11
At 8 a.m., a man was arrested for violently shoplifting from the Safeway on Alhambra Avenue.
A man in an army jacket was seen drinking a bottle of wine near the Walgreens drug store at 2:15 p.m.
A cart of merchandise, including a baby car seat, a portable bluetooth speaker and a traditional speaker, amongst other things, went unpaid as it was pushed out of Wal-Mart at 9:08 p.m. Why does a baby need a traditional speaker and a bluetooth portable speaker?
