The City and Republic Services are excited to let residents share in the success of the Organics Recycling collection program by providing another free “Compost Giveaway” to be held on Saturday, March 24th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. near the Martinez Yacht Club at 111 Tarantino Drive. Just bring an ID with your Martinez address and receive up to 30 gallons per household.
Republic staff will be on site to fill your containers; 5 gallon buckets are best. Please note that the Marina Swap Meet will be held nearby at the same time.
Republic Services will also be collecting clean Styrofoam to be recycled. Please be aware Styrofoam packing “peanuts” will NOT be accepted.
