Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin each had a goal and an assist and Tristan Jarry stopped 31 shots to lead the Pittsburgh Penguins to a 3-0 win over the Sharks Saturday night at SAP Center.

Crosby got the Penguins (4-2-0) on the board with his third goal of the season at the 7:35 mark of the second period, and Anthony Mantha and Malkin both added goals in the third, more than enough to support Jarry’s 22nd career shutout in a cleanly played game that didn’t see its first penalty until nearly 53 minutes into the game.

San Jose outshot an opponent for the first time this season and Alex Nedeljkovic made 24 saves for the Sharks. The loss extended San Jose’s winless streak to five games (0-3-2) to start the season for the fourth year in a row.
