The Contra Costa Resource Conservation District is looking for an individual interested in serving on its Board of Directors. Contra Costa County land owners with a strong interest in soil and water conservation are encouraged to apply.
The District is recruiting to fill three vacancies for four-year terms beginning Dec. 1, 2016, and ending on Nov. 30, 2020. The County Board of Supervisors will make the appointments.
Individuals selected will serve as unpaid volunteers. The District Board of Directors meets monthly in Concord.
Application forms can be obtained from the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors by calling (925) 335-1900 or by visiting the County webpage at www.co.contra-costa.ca.us. Applications should be returned to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, Room 106, County Administration Building, 651 Pine St., Martinez, CA 94553 no later than Friday, Oct. 7, 2016, by 5 p.m. Applicants should plan to be available for public interviews in Martinez on Monday, Oct. 24, 2016.
