Details: Presented by Minor Chords Productions. Robbie Dunbar on guitar/vocals; Larry Lynch on lead vocals/drums; Jimmy Jet Spalding on bass/vocals; Michael Barrett on keyboards/guitar/vocals. Dunbar was a member of the Bay Area band, Earth Quake, in the early 1970s. He then co-founded the fabled independent record label Beserkley Records (Jonathan Richman, The Rubinoos, Greg Kihn) with the royalties his band made from a song that appeared in the Steve McQueen/Ali McGraw movie “The Getaway.” Earth Quake was a major headliner and key influencer of rock and power pop in the San Francisco Bay Area for more than a decade, performing with countless bands including Blondie, Iggy Pop, Tower of Power, Journey, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Jeff Beck, Aerosmith, and blues legend Albert King.

The Kyle Jester Blues Show

Details: High Energy Traditional Electric Blues and Early Rock & Roll. Kyle Jester on guitar/ vocals; Bob Welsh on piano; Vance Ehlers on upright bass; Pete Devine on drums. After playing with Thomas Yearsley of the Paladins, Earl Thomas and Freddie Brooks, Kyle Jester joined the Candye Kane band as the show opener, guitar player, duet vocalist and bandleader. During his time with Candye, the band won numerous awards and released a recording called “Whole Lotta Love,” which included Candye and Kyle singing a duet of an old Billy Valentine tune called “Fit, Fat & Fine.”
