The community came out Tuesday, Sept. 6, to celebrate and appreciate those who put their lives on the line to keep us safe – first responders like law enforcement officers, firefighters and EMT personnel. The celebration took place in front of City Hall, 525 Henrietta St., Martinez, from 6-7 p.m. and included speeches and presentations from the mayor, Chief of Police and other dignitaries.
