The City of Martinez announced today that Contra Costa residents will find it easier to vote in the upcoming June 5th Primary Election, as the Contra Costa Elections Office and City Clerks countywide are providing convenient Vote By Mail drop-off locations, prior to and on Election Day.

The election drop-off boxes in the City of Martinez will be located at the following locations this year starting the week of May 14th:

Contra Costa County Administration Building
651 Pine Street, Martinez

Martinez Senior Center

These distinguishable red boxes will be available during normal business hours and postage is not required with the drop-off box service.

“We are excited to continue working with our city and community partners to be able to offer voters this opportunity,” said Joe Canciamilla, Contra Costa Registrar of Voters. “We urge voters to take advantage of this service.”

Contra Costa voters can also drop their ballot at any location, regardless of where they live. Staff members will have the popular “I Voted” stickers available for those who drop off their ballots. Ballots must be postmarked on or before June 5th or may also be dropped off between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the Contra Costa Elections Office in Martinez, located at 555 Escobar Street, or at any polling place on Election Day.
