Obituary: Joseph Allen Favalora (1987-2022)

Joseph Allen Favalora joined his angels from above on Monday, March 7, 2022. Joe not only had the brightest smile with a contagious laugh to go with it, but he gave the most generous hugs and protected those he loved.

This would have been his 10th year with PG&E as a welder for the gas department, where he got to experience multiple crews sharing his incredible sense of humor with his coworkers. If he wasn’t working he was golfing, fishing, boating, or working on his bike.

Joseph is survived by his loving parents, Carol and John Favalora; his children, Ryleigh, Giovanni, and Frank; his brother Chris; and his grandma Andy. Joe was a devoted father, an amazing uncle to his nieces and nephews, Matt, Gianna, and Rolan, and very close to his aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Grandpa Frank, Grandma Virginia, Uncle James and cousin Sophia. He will be deeply missed for his unmatchable humor and undeniable love.

Friends and family are welcome to join us as we finish guiding him on his journey to heaven on March 19, 2022 at 9:30am for the funeral service at Pittsburg Funeral Chapel 2295 Railroad Ave Pittsburg CA. Followed by the 11:30am burial at Holy Cross Cemetery located at 2200 East 18th St. Antioch CA.
