Jacqueline Anselmi passed away at the age of 99 on August 30th surrounded by her family at her home in Martinez.
Jacqueline was born in Arkansas on April 21, 1924 to Earl and Glady Woolard. She worked for Sears in Oakland for 29 years. Upon her retirement she and her husband Henry traveled around the country in their motor home, often times taking their grandchildren along. She loved to dance, go camping, and most of all, spend time with her grandchildren.
She was also elected WORTHY MATRON in 1997 of the Coachella Valley Chapter #360 Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Henry, and one sister who passed away on Mar. 22, 2023 at 101 yrs. of age.
Survivors include her loving son and wife, Jerry (Pam) of Martinez; grandson, TJ; granddaughter, April (Scott) Martel of Fairfield CA; and numerous nieces & nephews.
A Celebration of Life ceremony and reception will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4th at the Diablo Valley Masonic Lodge #448, at 5528A Pacheco Blvd. Pacheco, CA. Jacqueline was laid to rest in a private burial with her husband at the Sacramento Valley VA National Cemetery in Dixon, CA.
