Marie Ramona Anaya of Martinez, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, passed peacefully on Jan. 27, 2025, at the age of 80. Marie loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She loved watching her grandchildren play sports where she met many other families whose children called her “Grandma Marie”. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and cross-stitching, gardening, and loved to cook.
Survived by her 5 children Marie, Margaret, Manuel Jr, Martin and Michelle, 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren,1 great-great-grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She is now reunited with the love of her life Manuel Jesus Anaya Sr, parents Juanita and Rosalio Navarro, siblings Peter Navarro, Paul Navarro, Charlie Navarro, Dolores Camarillo, Isabel Gonzalez, and Esther Escajeda.
Services & Celebration of Life will be held Friday, Feb. 21, 2025, 10:30am at Queen of Heaven Cemetery & Funeral Center, 1965 Reliez Valley Road, Lafayette, CA 94549.
