Around 11 a.m. Saturday morning (March 18), the driver of this Nissan Altima drove into wetlands at the Martinez Marina. According to an onlooker, the driver, a young female, refused to unlock the car or shut off the engine. Police broke through the passenger-side rear window, retrieved the driver and handcuffed her for her own protection. Four Martinez Police cars and two fire trucks responded to the scene.
