A tree fell across Marina Vista Avenue around noon on Sunday, Jan. 8 (pictured). Branches from a big tree in the 2500 block of Alhambra Avenue also fell just before 2 p.m. Jan. 11, with removal efforts blocking the roadway till after nightfall.
