Pleasant Hill business joins effort to raise funds for young cancer survivor

Our neighbors in Pleasant Hill are reaching out to help Melody Massuk, the 4-year-old Martinez girl recently diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.

When Martinez residents told their employer at Melo’s Pizza & Pasta about Massuk, the manager offered to help fundraise, giving a percentage of sales to help fund Melody’s treatment. In addition, between April 1-3, Melo’s will place collection envelopes along with Melody’s story on tables, in the hope that patrons will assist in collection efforts.

Melo’s is located at 1660 Contra Costa Boulevard in Pleasant Hill.
