Alhambra alumnus Erin Enke has continued to add to the plaudits she is undoubtedly receiving this season with a no-hitter in her 23rd appearance this season.

The former Bulldog pitcher dominated in her start on April 23 against MidAmerica Nazarene University at Cox Softball Complex in Fayette, Missouri.

Enke only allowed three base runners in the win, two of whom were hit by a pitch, and one who reached via a walk. She struck out nine hitters in one of her most efficient performances of the season, throwing only 83 pitches.

The two-time Diablo Foothill Athletic League Most Valuable Pitcher has improved her record to 16-6 with a 2.21 ERA. And that’s coming off a rough outing following the no hitter where Enke was tagged for three earned runs in three innings by William Woods University on April 26.

The Central Methodist University pitcher is creeping up on the 200 inning mark, having completed 149 to lead the team, with three games left before the Heart of America Athletic Conference Tournament, and the NAIA National Championship opening round.
