Patrons of “Christmas for Everyone,” hosted at the old Bow Rack location at 701 Escobar St., Martinez, lined up around the block on Christmas Day. Christmas for Everyone has provided meals, gifts, clothing and services to many of the county’s working poor, seniors, and homebound for over 30 years. The organization was founded and is still run today by Martinez resident Mary Perez, with the assistance of many caring volunteers. (GRACE ERICSSON / Courtesy)
