A strong All-Star line-up has been announced as part of a November 9th benefit concert at AT&T Park in San Francisco to help support victims impacted by the recent wildfires that ravaged Napa, Sonoma, Lake and Mendocino County that were part of the most deadly and destructive fire disaster in California history.
The Band Together Bay Area show will feature performances by Metallica, Dave Matthews, Dead & Company featuring Bob Weir and John Mayer, Raphael Saadiq, Rancid and rapper G-Eazy.
The devastating fires that hit California’s wine country have destroyed close to 8,500 structures and caused at least 42 deaths while displacing thousands of residents from their homes. Damage estimates are said to be approaching $5 billion and the cleanup and recovery efforts will be the largest and costliest in California history.
The show will be underwritten by it’s sponsors with 100% of ticket sales being directed to the Tipping Point Emergency Relief Fund. The fund supports community partners working on the front lines to help those hit the hardest along with supporting rebuilding and re-housing efforts.
