With deep gratitude for a life well- lived and faithfully kept, we announce that Aronia Pate transitioned peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on December 3, 2025, at the age of 74. Though she battled Alzheimer’s disease, she never lost the gentle spirit and quiet strength God placed within her.
Born on September 18, 1951, to the late James Pate Sr. and Elnora Pate, Aronia dedicated her life to serving God, loving her family, and walking in unwavering faith. She was a devoted member of Second Baptist Church of Martinez CA, where she served joyfully and faithfully as an Usher for many years. Greeting God’s people with warmth, kindness, and reverence was her ministry, and she believed every soul entering the sanctuary should feel the love of Christ from the moment they arrived. Her life was a testimony of compassion, humility, and steadfast belief in God’s promises.
