MARTINEZ, Calif. – The Martinez Chamber of Commerce announced recipients of the 2015 Citizen of the Year Awards Tuesday.
Awardees will be honored during a special banquet at the Shell Clubhouse, 1635 Pacheco Blvd., Martinez, from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, April 23.
“These remarkable people or organizations have served our community in extraordinary ways,” a Chamber release stated.
Recipients are: Tom Zamaria, Man of the Year; Debbie Zamaria, Woman of the Year; Nick Lucido, Young Man of the Year; Michelle Aung, Young Woman of the Year; Sam Groess and Lexy Tamony, Educators of the Year; Hal & Marie Olson, Lifetime Achievement; Adam Hoffert, Charles Laird Award; David Jackson, Service Without Borders; Connolly & Taylor Funeral Chapel, Business of the Year; Irene Merkel, Ambassador of the Year.
Reservations are required to attend the banquet, and are available through Monday, April 20. Individual seating is $55 per person; tables of eight are available for $400. To make reservations, call (925) 228-2345.
